The Agostinho Neto Cultural Centre covers an area of 12000 square metres and is located in Luanda, the capital and largest city of Angola. This monument was constructed in memory of Agostinho Neto, the first president of Angola and it also represents the Angolan independence.

Standing at almost 188m, the Tekezé Dam is Africa’s tallest dam which took almost 10 years to build. This double-curvature arch dam generates 300 Megawatts of electricity hence increasing Ethiopia’s total generating capacity by almost 35% as of 2009.

Merlin Diamond Mine is one of the three diamond mines in Australia and the only one in the Northern Territory. It is renowned for its production of high quality and large diamonds. Borehole open pit mining is carried out at the Merlin Diamond Mine where a hydraulic water jetting tool is used to cut and break rock formations within the pit. The slurry is then transported out of the pit via a hydraulic lifting system.

Kisumu County is located in west Kenya and has a population of close to 1 million. The county is coasted by Lake Victoria which is known for being Africa’s largest lake by area. Kisumu County has a tropical climate that is brought upon mainly by the presence of Lake Victoria.

Standing at 3400m above sea level, Mount Wechacha is about 20km away from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. At the foot of the mountain sits an indigenous forest known as Menagesha National Forest which covers a land area of 25km2.
